Meet the Artist: Herb Williams

Why have you chosen to participate in Manifest Equality? 

I think that art can change the world. What greater cause than love could anyone be asked to work toward? I think it's the question and the answer. 

Describe a bit about your submission to the gallery or the creative process you are putting into it.

I want my artwork to connect with everyone who sees it on a personal level, so that my gateway drug(crayons) can change perspectives and open eyes to injustices that need change.

What else would you like to manifest? 

Get healthcare for all passed now, along with some great dancing to celebrate this show and all of the enormous effort that has gone into it to make it a reality.
